Canada Spouse Visa in 2026
A very big update about the Canada Spouse Visa
Today we are going to share a very big update with you about the Canada spouse visa.
If we look at the spouse visas we have received recently, the trend is very good right now. In the current spouse visa cases, we have noticed a clear pattern. We have seen how visas are getting refused and how, when people re-apply, those visas are getting approved.
So, read this news till the end.
Our recent spouse open work visa results
Recently, we received 11 spouse open work visas, out of which 9 visas were approved after refusal.
We repeat again — out of 11 visas, 9 visas, meaning more than 80%, were approved after refusal.
People's most common question is this: most people applying for spouse visas right now already have one or two refusals. Some even have five or six refusals.
Many have refusals in visitor visas, spouse visas, and even study visas. Because of these multiple refusals in different categories, people get confused and ask whether their visa can still come or not.
So we mentioned 9 after-refusal visas. First, let us tell you who they are, and after that we will explain how their visas were approved.
List of approved cases after refusal
- Mohammad Qasim from Malerkotla — visa approved after four refusals
- Sonali Ben from Gujarat — visa approved after five refusals
- Ashish from Gujarat — visa approved after three refusals
- Balwinder from Bathinda, Punjab — visa approved after two refusals
- Urvashi from Gujarat — visa approved after two refusals
- Preeti from Telangana — visa approved after three refusals
- Manpreet from Ludhiana, Punjab — visa approved after one refusal
- Rimple from Gujarat — visa approved after two refusals
- Vinay from Uttar Pradesh — visa approved after one refusal
Two important observations from this list
There are two things we want you to notice from this list.
First, these visas are from all over India. These applicants are not from one specific region. We are telling you this because many people believe that visas from certain regions do not get approved anymore. That is not true.
Whether you applied from Gujarat, Mumbai, Telangana, Punjab, Haryana, or anywhere else in India — your visa can come.
Second, this list includes people with five refusals, four refusals, and even different types of refusals. These were not only spouse open work permit refusals. Many had visitor visa refusals, many had study visa refusals, and then spouse visa refusals.
Our point is simple: if your spouse visa has been refused for any reason, you do not need to lose hope. You do not need to panic.
If someone tells you that chances after refusal are very low or that visas do not come after refusal, this list is exactly why we shared these cases — to show you that visas do come after refusals, and they come in large numbers.
Common refusal reasons we observed
Now, although each case had different reasons, two common reasons stood out. If you are reading this news and your visa was refused recently, your refusal may fall under one of these.
1. Financial reasons
Financial refusal is very common. Officers say that your job is not proper, your funds are not sufficient, and they are not convinced that you can support yourself in Canada.
What we advise is to present your financials properly.
By properly, we mean according to LICO — Low Income Cut-Off. You can search “LICO 2026” on Google. Based on how many people will live in Canada, you must show funds accordingly.
Your CA report must be proper. If you have an income source, your ITR must match that income source.
For example, if you are showing a job salary of 50,000 per month, which is roughly 6 lakhs annually, your ITR must justify that. It cannot say something else while your job salary says something different.
These financial details are very deep and cannot be fully covered in one news, but you must take care of these small but critical points.
2. Relationship proof issues
The second major refusal reason was relationship credibility.
Many applicants are refused because officers feel that relationship proof is not sufficient, not credible, or not genuine.
If your proofs were weak, you must revise them properly.
Add as many public proofs as possible — wedding crowd photos, marriage rituals, before-marriage and after-marriage ceremonies, public functions attended together, and clear photos with family members.
Cohabitation, meaning living under one roof, is extremely important. Proofs of living together as husband and wife, trips together, home celebrations, family photos — all these must be added.
The main purpose of this news was to address the huge number of inquiries we receive about whether a visa can come after refusal.
